Second stage: Polishing character and building design
I re-develop the previous sketches of the character and the buildings, using for a quick color suggestion.
The buildings: during my travels in Istanbul and Hong Kong, I was inspired by their narrow roads and steep streest and the amount of hidden stairways and pathways around the city. Here in this world I wanted to capture an organized mess within the buildings, waterpipes stick out of the roof ,the air-con box hooked against the wall and wires are are stuck on the most akward area of the building.
